After countless questionnaires, readings and more online quizzes than I’d like to admit, I can tell you all the numbers, letters, symbols and archetypes about who I am.

This is what happens when you let a high-achiever roam the self-development shelves at the bookstore one too many times. I’ve spent decades asking, “Who am I? Why am I here? What do I do? Where do I go? When do I do it?”. My willingness to self-reflect and analyze has drawn friends and colleagues to me when they need a perspective, insights, or advice, and it's been the clue that has led me down this road.
The Expected & The Unexpected
After college, I followed the expected path of climbing the corporate ladder. I received accolades that encouraged me to seek external validation: Each promotion told me that I was on the right track and each new job made me feel valued in the workplace. Yet, I struggled with challenging bosses, stumbled when negotiating, and accepted positions that did not fit. Even when I found a job I loved, I was struck with unexpected personal tragedies - the heartbreaking losses of my grandmother and my mentor, Jean.
Work affects life & life affects work and rather than facing the grief, I threw myself deeper into work and moved further away from my personal interests and passions. Without realizing it, I had buried the most gritty and grounded pieces of me under layers of negativity, frustration and bad habits. Eventually I felt burnt out and unfulfilled, leading me to, once again ask, who, what, and why. Re-evaluating these questions pointed me to an even more relevant question - how? How do I lean into the discomfort? How do I have the courageous conversations? And how do I create more alignment, purpose, freedom, and impact in my personal and professional environment?
From Breakdown to Breakthrough
These are the questions I began answering for myself to connect the dots in my life. I developed product and brand strategies within the fragrance industry for over ten years. My work with leading beauty companies and brands such as Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Coty, Bath & Body Works, Kate Spade New York and International Flavors & Fragrances gave me a foundation of skills and experience in how to articulate the message and story behind the elusive world of scents. So what was the message in my story?
I have always been drawn to the invisible patterns that shape us - the vibes, the senses, and all the spaces between. That’s what sports and scents have in common for me - picking up the motion and emotion that others may not see. It’s also what my grandma and Jean left behind. It’s easy to think of love and support from our family but what about our colleagues? Of all the projects and work Jean and I did together, what I remember most is her positivity, her encouragement, her kindness and her belief in the people around her. While she was a brilliant marketer, her legacy went beyond the brands she built and left an invisible yet essential mark on me.
What’s Essential
That’s the message I hope to convey: Let’s transform the invisible into the essential. Let’s go beyond the branding and create meaning. Telling a brand story around something you cannot see illuminates the hidden elements that really matter. From product brands to personal brands, this is what led me to coaching - the desire to connect with people more meaningfully and bring their strengths and purpose into focus.
Whether we bond through coaching sessions, a fragrance branding project or maybe even on the tennis court, you can be sure that I’ll bring a spark of enthusiastic, straightforward, and insightful energy that will ignite your self-belief and fuel you to chase your potential.
